Must-Have-

- Strong handson experience with Databricks administration
- Solid knowledge and hands-on on PySpark

Good-to-Have -

- Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
- AWS knowledge (S3 bucket)

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1.

Manage catalogues & schemas: Create, alter, and delete catalogues and schemas; set ownership and default properties across the meta store.

2.

Access control & governance: Define and manage permissions (GRANT/REVOKE) on catalogues, schemas, tables, views, volumes, and functions

3.

Data security enforcement: Implement finegrained security using privileges, row filters, column masking, and tagbased (ABAC) policies.

4.





Metadata & data governance: Oversee table definitions, lineage, tags, classifications, and ensure compliance with governance standards.

5.

Administrative operations: Troubleshoot access issues, manage object ownership transfers, and support platform standards and best practices.

6.

Crossenvironment data copy: Move data securely fromProd to NonProdusing approved, automated pipelines.

7.

Data masking: Mask or anonymize sensitive fields (PII/PHI/PCI) during or before data copy.

8.

Deployments: Carryout deployments using CI/CD across various environments

9.

Data upload: Upload data to DataBricks as well as migrate data from other Databases to it
