We are seeking an experienced Production Engineer to manage the production of PE monofilament yarns used for artificial grass. The candidate will be responsible for achieving production targets, maintaining consistent yarn quality and training extrusion operators.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily production of PE monofilament artificial-grass yarns.
- Set and monitor extrusion, drawing, annealing and winding parameters.
- Ensure correct dtex, filament count, colour consistency, yarn profile, tensile strength, elongation and winding quality.
- Prevent colour and dtex variations between bobbins and production batches.
- Control raw-material and masterbatch dosing.
- Identify production defects and take immediate corrective action.
- Minimise rejection, wastage, machine downtime and material loss.




- Maintain product-wise process recipes and daily production records.
- Train operators in machine operation, quality inspection, troubleshooting and safety.
- Coordinate with the quality, maintenance and tufting departments.

Candidate Requirements

- Diploma or degree in Plastics, Polymer, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 35 years of monofilament extrusion experience.
- Experience with PE/PP monofilament yarns; artificial-grass yarn experience is preferred.
- Solid knowledge of extrusion parameters, dtex control, colour matching and quality testing.
- Ability to independently operate the line, troubleshoot problems and supervise operators.
