Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Lead Finance Functional Consultant with strong end-to-end implementation expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;), particularly within the construction and infrastructure industry.

The consultant will take complete ownership of the Finance & Project Accounting workstream, from requirement gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment and go-live.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Finance & Project Accounting implementation for D365 F&O.;
- Conduct requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design and functional configuration.
- Lead testing, UAT, deployment, cutover and go-live activities.
- Manage Project Management & Accounting (PMA) processes including project budgeting, costing, WIP, revenue recognition, project invoicing, capitalization and profitability.
- Configure and support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, VAT/Sales Tax and Taxation.
- Ensure effective integration between PMA, GL, Procurement, AP and Fixed Assets.
- Work directly with business stakeholders and project teams to resolve functional issues and deliver practical solutions.




- Provide functional leadership and work independently with minimal supervision.

Mandatory Requirements

- 10+ years of overall ERP implementation experience.
- Minimum 5 end-to-end ERP implementations.
- Minimum 2 end-to-end D365 F&O; implementations for construction/infrastructure companies.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related discipline.
- Strong hands-on expertise in D365 F&O; Finance and PMA.
- Proven project accounting experience in residential/commercial developments, roads, bridges or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, project costing, WIP, revenue recognition, invoicing, capitalization and profitability.
- Strong knowledge of integration across Finance, Procurement and Project Accounting modules.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Self-driven, hands-on and capable of taking complete ownership of the Finance workstream.

Good to Have

- Prior Gulf / Middle East implementation experience.
- Knowledge of GCC VAT and UAE/local tax requirements.
- Experience with UAE construction, infrastructure or real estate organizations.
- Willingness to travel to the UAE as required.
