R&D; Job Role and Responsibilities

- Literature review and design and perform laboratory experiments for new product or process development.
- Develop, optimize, and validate process or synthetic routes.
- Interpret analysis samples from analytical results such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, UV-Vis, and other laboratory equipment.
- Interpret experimental data and prepare technical reports with clear conclusions.
- Troubleshoot experimental issues and recommend process improvements.
- Maintain accurate laboratory records in accordance with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), Production, and Regulatory Affairs.
- Support pilot-scale trials and technology transfer to manufacturing when needed.
- Stay updated with scientific literature, patents, and industry developments.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments according to standard procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple experiments within deadlines.

Skills Expected

- Strong practical laboratory skills and experimental planning.
- Knowledge of analytical techniques and data interpretation.
- Experience with method development or process optimization.
- Good documentation and technical writing skills.
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Good typing skills with accurate and efficient data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, charts, tables, and basic data analysis).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word for preparing reports, SOPs, technical documents, and presentations

Preferred Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, or Physical).
- 25 years of R&D; laboratory experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, and cosmetics.

Analytical Job Role & Responsibilities

- Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for raw materials,



intermediates, finished products, and stability samples.
- Perform routine and non-routine analysis using HPLC, GC, UV-Visible, FTIR, Karl Fischer, and other analytical instruments.
- Prepare analytical protocols, method validation reports, SOPs, and technical documentation.
- Conduct method transfer and troubleshooting of analytical methods.
- Investigate Out-of-Specification (OOS), Out-of-Trend (OOT), and laboratory deviations.
- Interpret analytical data and prepare accurate reports.
- Ensure compliance with GLP, GMP, ICH, USP, EP, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Support stability studies, product development, and technology transfer activities.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments according to standard procedures.
- Collaborate with R&D;, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing teams.

Skills Required

- Strong knowledge of analytical chemistry principles.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, FTIR, Karl Fischer Titrator, and pH meter.
- Experience in analytical method development, validation, verification, and method transfer.
- Good understanding of ICH guidelines, GLP, GMP, and pharmacopoeia requirements (USP, EP, BP).
- Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent data analysis and documentation skills.
- Good typing skills with accurate and efficient data entry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formulas, pivot tables, charts, and basic data analysis).
- Proficient in Microsoft Word for preparing analytical reports, SOPs, protocols, validation reports, and technical documents.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint for presentations.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple analytical projects within deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

- M.Sc. in Chemistry (Organic, Analytical, Inorganic, or Physical).
- 2–5 years of R&D; laboratory experience in industries such as pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, and cosmetics.
