Job Description: Business Analyst (B2B Vertical SaaS)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with at least 5 years of experience in B2B Vertical SaaS to bridge the gap between business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams. The ideal candidate has extensive experience analyzing business processes, gathering complex requirements, improving workflows, and delivering scalable SaaS solutions.

The successful candidate will play a key role in defining product requirements, optimizing customer workflows, supporting product strategy, and ensuring that software solutions solve real business problems while maintaining usability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal stakeholders and enterprise customers.
- Conduct discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional and non-functional specifications.
- Create user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and business process documentation.
- Perform gap analysis between current and future business processes.
- Evaluate existing workflows and identify automation opportunities.

Product Collaboration

- Work closely with Project Managers to define product roadmaps.
- Assist in feature prioritization based on customer value and business impact.
- Validate product requirements before development begins.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning.
- Ensure requirements align with long-term product strategy.

Customer & Domain Analysis

- Understand customer operations, pain points, and business objectives.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage trends.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring customer issues.
- Recommend product improvements based on customer insights.

Process Improvement

- Design optimized business workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and propose scalable solutions.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) where applicable.
- Support digital transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in B2B Vertical SaaS products.
- Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Strong understanding of SaaS product lifecycle.
- Experience gathering requirements from enterprise customers.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to simplify complex business problems.
- Experience creating detailed functional specifications.
- Robust stakeholder management skills.
