Description
As an Application Testing expert, you will be responsible for conducting thorough tests and evaluations of our retail customer's e-commerce platform. Your role is integral to the project's success, as you will identify and address potential issues, ensuring a seamless migration process. You will work closely with the development team to implement effective testing strategies and provide valuable insights to enhance the overall user experience.

Responsibilities

- Design and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies for the e-commerce platform.
- Identify and report bugs, errors, and performance issues, providing detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with the development team to resolve identified issues and implement necessary fixes.
- Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of the platform after updates or changes.
- Execute regression, integration, system, smoke, and UAT testing.
- Perform usability testing to evaluate the user experience and provide feedback for improvements.
- Create and maintain test automation scripts to streamline the testing process.
- Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies, and suggest innovative testing approaches.




- Work closely with the project manager to ensure testing milestones are met and provide regular progress reports.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test environments, ensuring they are aligned with project requirements.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of experience in application testing, preferably in retail or e-commerce domains.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform and its testing tools is a must.
- Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify complex issues.
- Good understanding of web technologies and experience with cross-browser testing.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with the team.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to testing and quality assurance.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
