We are looking for an experienced Color Stone Grader to evaluate and grade colored gemstones based on quality, authenticity and established grading standards.

Requirements

? Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate color, hue, tone, saturation, clarity, cut, polish, symmetry and transparency
• Identify gemstones such as Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Topaz, Tourmaline, Garnet, Tanzanite and Aquamarine
• Detect inclusions, fractures, treatments and quality characteristics
• Identify signs of heat treatment, filling, dyeing, irradiation and diffusion
• Examine gemstones using appropriate lighting and magnification
• Sort and categorize stones based on quality, size,



color and commercial value
• Maintain accurate grading records and documentation
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Purchase and Sales teams
• Ensure consistent grading as per company standards
• Handle gemstones carefully and follow security procedures

? Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of colored gemstones and their characteristics
• Experience in gemstone grading/sorting
• Excellent color differentiation and visual observation skills
• Knowledge of treatments, imitations and synthetics
• Familiarity with loupe, microscope, refractometer, polariscope and dichroscope is an advantage
• Robust attention to detail and accuracy
