Role Summary
The L6 Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full campaign delivery lifecycle - from briefing
and planning through launch, optimization, reporting, and post-campaign learning.
This person will act as the central coordination point across Mastercard, agencies, and partner teams. They
will ensure that strategy, timelines, milestones, assets, approvals, risks, dependencies, and deliverables are
clearly managed.
The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing complex integrated marketing campaigns,
excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to create structure in a fast-moving, multi-stakeholder
environment.
Key Responsibilities
Own and manage the integrated project plan from campaign briefing through launch, optimization,
reporting, and post-campaign learning.
Coordinate internal Mastercard teams, agency partners and specialist workstreams including PR,
Public Policy, product, legal, brand governance, digital, AEO and measurement teams.
Translate campaign objectives into a clear delivery roadmap with workstream owners, milestones,
dependencies, risks, approval gates and escalation paths.
Manage the campaign governance model, including meeting cadence, action tracking, decision logs,
status updates and senior stakeholder reporting.
Oversee the creative development and localization process, ensuring the global platforms are
adapted for the UK market while maintaining strategic and brand consistency.
Coordinate partner participation, local storytelling, permissions, usage rights, and production
planning.
Support the delivery of paid, owned, earned, experiential and public policy activity, ensuring
consistency across messaging, timing, audience strategy and proof points.
Manage legal, brand, sponsorship and compliance approval processes, ensuring required review time
is built into the critical path.
Support agency coordination across chosen agencies and specialist partners to ensure asset
development, media planning, comms planning and measurement workstreams remain aligned.
Work with measurement partners to ensure KPIs, baselines, data sources, reporting templates, and
learning objectives are defined before campaign launch.
Prepare executive-ready status updates, decision papers, milestone reports and post-campaign
readouts for senior stakeholders.
Drive post-campaign reporting, capturing performance, city-level learnings, stakeholder outputs,
operational recommendations, and implications for the 2027 UK rollout.
Required Skills and Experience
10 12 years of project management experience, preferably in integrated marketing, brand
campaigns, B2B marketing, financial services, technology, sponsorship, or agency-led environments.
Proven experience managing complex multi-channel campaigns across creative, media, PR, digital,
events, stakeholder engagement, and measurement.
Strong understanding of campaign delivery across paid, owned, and earned channels, including
media planning, asset development, production, and reporting workflows.
Experience working with cross-functional teams including brand, product, legal, communications,
public policy, commercial, digital and measurement teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working across senior leadership, regional
teams, global teams, agencies and specialist functions.
Robust planning discipline, including critical path management, RAID logs, status reporting, scope
control, budget tracking, and dependency management.
Ability to manage approvals involving legal, brand, claims substantiation, sponsorship rights, partner
participation and regulated or sensitive communications.
Experience working with agency and production partners, including briefing, timeline management,
reviews, asset delivery and performance reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex campaign
information into clear, executive-ready updates.
Ability to manage ambiguity, solve problems proactively and bring structure to complex projects.
Familiarity with B2B audiences, SME marketing, financial services, digital commerce, payments,
cyber resilience or sponsorship campaigns would be advantageous.
Preferred Experience
Experience managing campaigns in financial services, technology, payments, fintech or B2B sectors.
Experience managing campaigns linked to sports sponsorships or major cultural events.
Strong understanding of project management systems like Monday.com, Adobe Workfront, or
similar platforms where this project will live and be managed.
Experience working across UK or European markets.
Experience coordinating city-level activations, local storytelling or regional market campaigns.
Experience working with public policy, government affairs or stakeholder engagement teams.
Understanding of AEO, SEO, digital content optimization, or answer-engine visibility.
