- Operate the assigned sewing machine safely and efficiently.
- Follow the approved operation bulletin, work instructions, and sample.
- Stitch garment components according to the required specification.
- Maintain the required stitch type, SPI, seam allowance, and workmanship.
- Check fabric and garment components before starting the operation.
- Ensure correct handling of different fabric types and garment components.
- Maintain required production targets and hourly output.
- Check own work continuously and identify defects at the earliest stage.
- Avoid defects such as skipped stitches, broken stitches, open seams, puckering, uneven stitching, and incorrect attachment.
- Separate defective pieces and inform the supervisor or quality checker.
- Carry out minor machine adjustments as permitted.




- Keep the sewing machine and workstation clean and organized.
- Handle garments carefully to prevent stains, damage, or contamination.
- Follow line balancing and production instructions given by the Team Leader/Supervisor.
- Cooperate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams.
- Reduce fabric and garment wastage during production.
- Follow all safety procedures while operating the sewing machine.
- Maintain proper needle, thread, and machine-related discipline.
- Attend required skill and quality training programs.
- Perform other sewing-related duties assigned by the supervisor
