Key Responsibilities

- Deploy, configure, and manage next-generation firewalls, including Palo Alto NGFW and Checkpoint Firewall, ensuring optimal performance and security enforcement.
n
- Implement and maintain microsegmentation policies using platforms like Akamai Gaudicore to restrict lateral movement and enhance network security.
n
- Perform day-to-day operational tasks for network security infrastructure, including rule base management, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and incident response.
n
- Utilize network security policy management platforms such as Tufin for auditing, compliance, and streamlining firewall change management processes.
n
- Optimize firewall rule sets and ensure compliance with security policies using tools like AlgoSec, providing explicit visibility and automation for network access changes.
n
- Collaborate with clients to understand their network security requirements, design appropriate solutions, and provide ongoing technical support and guidance.
n
- Monitor network traffic and security events to identify potential threats, analyze vulnerabilities, and recommend proactive security measures.
n
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of network security posture through regular assessments, configuration reviews,



and adherence to security best practices.

Requirements

n

n
- 1-3 years of practical experience in network security engineering or operations.
n
- B.Tech or M.Tech degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
n
- Demonstrated experience with firewall deployment, configuration, and management.
n
- Understanding and practical experience with network security posture management.
n
- Experience in designing and implementing microsegmentation solutions.
n
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, switching, and common network security concepts.
n
- Ability to troubleshoot complex network security issues effectively.
n

Nice-to-Have

n

n
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto NGFW for operation and management.
n
- Familiarity with Checkpoint Firewall administration.
n
- Experience operating and managing Akamai Gaudicore for microsegmentation.
n
- Practical experience with Tufin for network security policy orchestration and auditing.
n
- Knowledge of AlgoSec for security policy management and automation.
