About the Role

n

The company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join its India. team. This hands-on role involves installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and supporting advanced testing systems at customer sites across India, with opportunities for international travel.

n

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, practical engineer with strong problem-solving and communication skills who enjoys working directly with customers and travelling to industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Install, commission, and maintain VMCIS High-Speed Data Acquisition and Control Testing Systems at customer facilities.
n
- Provide onsite and remote technical support via telephone, email, and remote desktop tools.
n
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
n
- Develop and configure vehicle testing software and test sequences using VMCIS proprietary applications.
n
- Deliver customer training on the operation, maintenance, and configuration of VMCIS testing systems.
n
- Collaborate with engineering teams on domestic and international installation projects.
n
- Maintain accurate service documentation and provide timely technical reports.
n
- Deliver exceptional customer service while working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or a related Engineering discipline.
n
- 2–5 years of relevant engineering or field service experience.
n
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
n
- Practical experience working with electromechanical equipment and hand tools.
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
n
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
n
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong organisational skills.
n
- Confidence working in heavy industrial and manufacturing environments.
n

- All business travel, accommodation, per diem allowances, and work-related expenses are fully covered by the company.

Training & Development

n

Comprehensive technical and product training will be provided, enabling successful candidates to become specialists in testing systems, customer support, and application software.

Language Requirements

n

Candidates must demonstrate qualified fluency in English and at least one regional Indian language (such as Tamil or Hindi).

n

Salary range: 8 LPA - 14 LPA.

n
