Job Description

Matrix Wellness is a new integrated wellness centre in Santacruz, Mumbai, bringing together physician-guided programmes, advanced diagnostics, recovery therapies and spa services under one roof. We are looking for an Accountant to own the books end to end as we open and scale.

This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Director. You will be the single point of accountability for the centre's finances — not one link in a long chain.

What you'll do

n

n
- Maintain complete books of accounts in Tally / Zoho Books — sales, purchases, journals, bank and cash
n
- Daily reconciliation of clinic collections across cash, card, UPI and online payment gateways against the billing system
n
- Vendor management: bill booking, payment scheduling, ledger reconciliation and follow-up
n
- GST — monthly GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B workings, ITC reconciliation with GSTR-2B, and coordination with the CA for filing
n
- TDS — deduction, monthly deposit, quarterly returns and Form 16A issuance
n
- Payroll inputs — attendance, salary processing, PF / ESIC / PT workings and statutory remittances
n
- Monthly MIS for the Director: P&L;, revenue by service line, membership and package revenue recognition, expense analysis against budget
n




- Inventory and consumables control — stock reconciliation for retail, spa and clinical supplies
n
- Support statutory and internal audits; maintain clean, audit-ready documentation
n
- Assist with cash flow planning, vendor negotiations and cost control

What we're looking for

n

n
- B.Com / M.Com / Inter-CA with 3–6 years of hands-on accounting experience
n
- Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP / Tally Prime; Zoho Books an advantage
n
- Practical, current experience with GST and TDS compliance — you should have prepared returns yourself, not just handed over data
n
- Advanced Excel (lookups, pivots, reconciliations)
n
- Experience in a clinic, hospital, salon or spa, hospitality or multi-outlet retail setting is a strong plus
n
- High attention to detail, an ownership mindset, and comfort working independently in a young organisation
n
- Based in or able to commute daily to Santacruz, Mumbai
