Job Summary:

n

n

We are looking for a senior SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash (OTC) Lead Functional Analyst with 12+ years of SAP SD/OTC experience to support an SAP RISE / S/4HANA upgrade initiative. The candidate should have strong hands-on functional expertise, upgrade and defect-resolution experience, and the ability to independently lead the Outbound/OTC workstream and manage stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

n

n

n
- Act as the single Outbound/OTC POC for SAP RISE upgrade activities .
n
- Independently lead the SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash workstream and manage business and IT stakeholders.
n
- Coordinate with Outbound Architects, SMEs, technical teams,



and other functional teams .
n
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve upgrade-related defects .
n
- Work closely with ABAP/technical teams to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions.
n
- Assess the impact of upgrade changes on existing OTC processes, configurations, enhancements, interfaces, and integrations.
n
- Lead functional testing, SIT, regression testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and deployment readiness.
n
- Manage dependencies and integration points with FI, MM, EWM/WM, logistics, and other SAP modules .
n
- Prepare/review functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements, interfaces, reports, and forms.
n
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables and drive them to closure.
n
- Provide regular status updates to project leadership and proactively escalate critical issues.
n
- Support cutover, deployment, hyper care, and post-upgrade stabilization activities.
n

Required SAP SD/ OTC Functional Skills

n

n

n
- 12+ years of hands-on SAP SD / Order-to-Cash experience , with strong S/4HANA exposure.
n
- Strong end-to-end understanding of Order-to-Cash processes , including Sales Order → Delivery → Picking/Packing → PGI → Billing.
n
- Strong configuration experience in:
n
- Sales document types
n
- Item categories and schedule line categories
n
- Copy control
n
- Pricing procedures and condition techniques
n
- Partner determination
n
- Text and output determination/management
n
- Incompletion procedures
n
- Availability Check / ATP
n
- Shipping and delivery processing
n
- Billing and invoice processing
n
- Returns, credit/debit memos, and cancellations
n
- Credit management
n
- Account determination
n




- Strong understanding of Business Partner and SD master data in S/4HANA.
n
- Good understanding of outbound logistics and integration with WM/EWM .
n
- Strong integration knowledge across SD-FI, SD-MM, SD-WM/EWM , and related logistics processes.
n
- Experience troubleshooting IDocs, interfaces, output issues, and integration failures related to OTC.
n
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis for complex functional and cross-module issues.

Lead Functional Analyst Skills

n

n
- Ability to independently gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
n
- Perform fit-gap and impact analysis and recommend appropriate solutions.
n
- Prepare clear functional specifications for developments and enhancements.
n
- Work effectively with ABAP developers, integration teams, architects, and other functional consultants.
n
- Strong experience with configuration, unit testing, SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management .
n
- Ability to review existing customizations and assess their impact during an S/4HANA upgrade.
n
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
- Ability to lead discussions with business teams, architects, SMEs, and technical teams.
n
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
n
- Experience coordinating offshore/onshore or cross-functional teams is preferred.

SAP RISE / Upgrade Experience

n

n
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP RISE upgrade projects is strongly preferred .
n
- Experience analyzing and resolving defects introduced during an upgrade.
n
- Understanding of upgrade impact on existing configuration, custom developments, interfaces, and business processes.
n
- Experience supporting regression testing and validating critical OTC processes after an upgrade.
n
- Familiarity with upgrade-related remediation, testing, cutover, and stabilization activities.
n
- Upgrade experience is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with very robust S/4HANA OTC lead experience.
