Senior LSAF Programmer

Position Summary

n

We are seeking an experienced Senior LSAF Programmer to provide technical leadership and hands-on support for the SAS Life Science Analytics Framework (LSAF). The role focuses on writing & updating global programs (cross trial programs), troubleshooting complex data flow issues, maintaining global SAS frameworks used across multiple clinical studies, and supporting validated GxP-regulated environments.

A seasoned LSAF expert with deep SAS programming expertise who can independently diagnose and resolve complex data flow issues, maintain global clinical data frameworks, understand end-to-end clinical data transformations and lineage, and support validation, testing, and implementation activities in a GxP-compliant environmen Key Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot SAS programs, utilities, and frameworks within LSAF.
n
- Investigate and resolve complex data flow, transformation, and processing issues.
n
- Support global programs and shared frameworks used across multiple clinical studies.
n
- Analyze and maintain clinical data transformations, derivations, lineage, and data provenance processes.
n
- Ensure end-to-end traceability from source data through SDTM, reporting, and downstream consumption.
n
- Support GxP validation activities, including documentation, SIT, UAT, implementation, and release activities.
n
- Perform root cause analysis, code reviews, and continuous improvement of existing solutions.
n




- Serve as a technical escalation point and collaborate with Clinical Programming, Data Management, Quality, and IT teams.
n

Required Qualifications

n

n
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field.
n
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
n
- Extensive experience with SAS Life Science Analytics Framework (LSAF).
n
- Proven SAS programming experience in a clinical research environment.
n
- Experience developing and maintaining SAS-based systems and frameworks.
n
- Strong understanding of clinical data transformations, derivations, data lineage, and data provenance.
n
- Experience troubleshooting complex data pipelines and cross-study data flows.
n
- Working knowledge of CDISC SDTM standards.
n
- Experience within Pharmaceutical R&D; and clinical studies.
n
- Strong understanding of SDLC, change management, and system validation processes.
n
- Experience supporting GxP-regulated systems and computerized system validation activities.
n
- Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, and production implementations.
n
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
