We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team and help us expand our presence across global sports markets.
n
n
About the Role
n
As an SDR, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers, generating qualified sales opportunities, and supporting the sales process from initial outreach through product demonstrations and follow-ups.
n
This role involves a combination of business development, consultative selling, pre-sales, product demonstrations, and account management support.
n
You will work closely with the sales and product teams to understand customer requirements and demonstrate how Stupa's technology can solve their specific tournament and sports-management challenges.
n

Key Responsibilities
n
n
1. Lead Generation & Business Development
n
n
- Identify and research potential customers across sports federations, leagues, tournaments, clubs, academies, and sports organizations globally.
n
- Build and maintain a strong prospect pipeline through LinkedIn, email campaigns, industry research, referrals, events, and other channels.
n
- Conduct outbound prospecting and personalized outreach to decision-makers.
n
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on business requirements, budget, timelines, and decision-making processes.
n
- Schedule qualified meetings and product discussions with prospective customers.
n
n
n
2. Pre-Sales & Product Demonstrations
n
n
- Conduct pre-sales discussions and discovery calls to understand a prospect's business and operational requirements.
n
- Deliver engaging product demos of Stupa's SaaS Tournament Management System (TMS) to prospective customers.
n
- Explain how the platform can help organizations manage tournaments, competitions, registrations, scheduling, draws, results, rankings, and other tournament operations.
n
- Tailor product demonstrations according to the prospect's sport, tournament structure, and specific requirements.
n
- Work with the product and technical teams to address customer questions and provide accurate solutions.
n
- Prepare proposals, presentations, solution overviews, and other pre-sales material as required.
n

3. Sales & Pipeline Management
n
n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on leads, opportunities, activities, and follow-ups in the CRM.
n
- Manage prospects through different stages of the sales funnel and ensure timely follow-ups.
n
- Prepare commercial proposals and coordinate internally to close requirements.
n
- Support the sales team in negotiations and deal closure.
n
- Track sales performance, conversion rates, and pipeline activity.
n

4. Market Research & Sports Industry Development
n
n
- Research new sports markets, federations, leagues, tournaments, and organizations that could benefit from Stupa's technology.
n
- Identify upcoming tournaments, leagues, and sporting events to generate new business opportunities.
n
- Monitor competitors and emerging trends in sports technology.
n
- Develop a strong understanding of the sports technology ecosystem and Stupa's products.
n

5. Client & Internal Collaboration
n
n
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
n
- Gather customer feedback and communicate product requirements and market insights internally.
n
- Support the team in preparing for industry events, meetings, presentations, and business development initiatives.
n
n
n
What We're Looking For
n
n
- 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, SaaS sales, pre-sales, or a similar role.
n
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
n
- Comfortable conducting product demos and speaking with senior decision-makers.
n
- Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into relevant product solutions.
n
- Strong research and prospecting skills.
n
- Comfortable with cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-ups.
n
- Positive understanding of sales funnels and CRM processes.
n
- Strong written and verbal English communication.
n
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of targets and responsibilities.
n
- Interest in sports, technology, SaaS, or the sports business ecosystem is a strong advantage.
n

Good to Have
n
n
- Experience selling SaaS or technology products.
n
- Experience working with sports federations, leagues, clubs, academies, or tournament organizers.
n
- Experience in pre-sales or solution-based selling.
n
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email outreach tools, and presentation software.
n
- Knowledge of racket sports such as badminton, tennis, pickleball, padel, or table tennis.
n
