Domain Architect – ServiceNow | Contractor Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE – Onsite Employment Type: Contractor Experience: 8+ Years Level: Senior / Domain Architect About the Role We are looking for an experienced Domain Architect – ServiceNow to lead the architecture, design, governance, and technical assurance of enterprise ServiceNow platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on architecture experience across ServiceNow, CMDB, CSDM, integrations, workflows, security, automation, and enterprise governance . You will be responsible for defining scalable architecture patterns, reviewing HLD/LLD designs, ensuring platform standards, and guiding implementation teams and vendors. This role is suited for a senior ServiceNow qualified who has progressed beyond platform development into enterprise architecture, governance, design assurance, and strategic technical leadership . Key Responsibilities Define and own the ServiceNow domain architecture aligned with enterprise architecture principles and business objectives. Design and govern scalable ServiceNow solutions across enterprise workflows and platform capabilities. Establish and maintain CMDB and CSDM architecture , data models, relationships, and governance standards. Define architecture patterns and standards for ServiceNow integrations with enterprise applications and external platforms. Design and review workflows, automation, orchestration, and platform capabilities. Establish and enforce security architecture, roles, access controls, and platform security standards . Review and provide technical assurance for HLDs, LLDs, solution designs, and implementation approaches . Define reusable architecture standards, design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices.



Identify architectural risks, technical dependencies, scalability concerns, and opportunities for platform optimization. Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, implementation partners, and vendors. Ensure ServiceNow solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and regulatory standards . Support platform modernization, integration strategy, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. Act as the senior technical authority for ServiceNow architecture decisions. Required Skills & Experience 8+ years of professional experience with significant experience in ServiceNow. Proven experience as a ServiceNow Architect, Domain Architect, Technical Architect, or equivalent senior architecture role . Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and enterprise implementations . Deep understanding of CMDB and CSDM and their application within enterprise environments. Strong experience designing and governing ServiceNow integrations with enterprise systems. Hands-on understanding of workflow design, automation, orchestration, and platform capabilities . Strong knowledge of ServiceNow security, roles, ACLs, access controls, and governance . Experience creating and reviewing HLD and LLD documentation . Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and governance. Experience working with large-scale, complex,



or multi-system enterprise environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Experience providing architectural direction to development and implementation teams. Preferred / Good to Have ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly preferred. ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or equivalent advanced ServiceNow certification. Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps , or other major ServiceNow modules. Experience with enterprise integration technologies and API-led architectures. Experience working with global consulting firms, large enterprises, or complex transformation programs. Exposure to cloud, DevOps, enterprise security, and modern integration architectures.
