The ideal candidate combines consultative selling ability with strong stakeholder management and a genuine understanding of the CSR and ESG ecosystem in India.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & SalesIdentify and develop new CSR partnership opportunities with corporates, foundations, family offices, and government-linked institutionsBuild a strong pipeline across sectors such as BFSI, manufacturing, FMCG, IT, pharma, energy, infrastructure, and retailDrive end-to-end sales cycles including prospecting, outreach, meetings, proposal development, pitching, negotiation, and closurePosition CSR initiatives strategically around skilling, employability, women empowerment, sustainability, education, livelihoods, digital literacy, and community developmentAchieve revenue and partnership targets aligned to organizational growth plansBuild relationships with industry bodies, chambers, consultants, and ecosystem partnersClient Relationship ManagementBuild long-term relationships with CSR Heads, ESG Leaders, CHROs, Sustainability Officers, Foundation Leads, and senior leadership stakeholdersUnderstand client priorities, Schedule VII alignment, geographic focus areas, and impact objectivesEnsure strong client engagement throughout project lifecycle alongside internal delivery teamsSupport account growth through renewals, upselling,



and cross-functional collaborationProposal & Solution DevelopmentWork closely with program, operations, finance, and impact teams to create customized CSR proposals and presentationsDevelop compelling concept notes, project plans, budgets, and partnership pitchesAlign solutions with CSR compliance requirements, SDGs, ESG priorities, and measurable impact outcomesSupport grant applications, RFP responses, and partnership documentationPreferred Experience (internal only) 3–10 years of experience in CSR sales, partnerships, business development, consulting, NGO fundraising, ESG advisory, or institutional salesExperience working with CSR projects, skilling initiatives, foundations, or social impact programs preferredExisting network within CSR and corporate ecosystems is an advantageExperience handling enterprise or institutional clients preferredAbout CompanyWalchand PeopleFirst Ltd. is a leading professional development and training company and theexclusive master franchisee of Dale Carnegie Training in India.
