Business Development Associate – Corporate Events

Octane Events | Remote | Commission-Based

Octane Events is looking for a proactive Business Development Associate to help us identify, approach and develop recent corporate event opportunities.

The primary focus of this role will be client acquisition, relationship building and generating qualified business opportunities for Octane Events.

What You’ll Do

-Identify companies that regularly organise corporate events, conferences, brand activations, product launches, employee engagement events and similar formats.
-Connect with relevant decision-makers across Marketing, HR, Administration, Procurement and Corporate Communications.
Introduce Octane Events and initiate relevant business conversations.
-Understand potential event requirements and qualify genuine opportunities.
-Coordinate with our team for proposals, presentations, commercials and client discussions.
-Follow up consistently and help move opportunities toward conversion.
-Build relationships that can result in repeat and referral business.

What Octane Events Will Handle





Once a qualified opportunity is generated, our team will support the process with:

+Event requirement understanding
+Concept development and planning
+Proposals and presentations
+Costing and commercials
+Vendor and production planning
+Complete event execution and on-ground management

You will not be expected to independently manage event production.

Who We’re Looking For?

You may be a good fit if you:

Have experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Lead Generation or Client Acquisition.
Are confident approaching corporate decision-makers.
Can independently identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Have strong communication, follow-up and relationship-building skills.
Are proactive, disciplined and result-oriented.

Experience or an existing network in corporate events, advertising, marketing, media, hospitality or B2B services would be an advantage.
