About the Role

n

Amity University Patna invites applications from dynamic, academically accomplished and research-oriented professionals for the position of Assistant Professor – Computer Science & Engineering . The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, research, student mentoring and participation in academic and institutional activities.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver high-quality lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions and practical classes for UG/PG students.
n
- Develop and update course content, lesson plans and teaching materials in line with industry and technological developments.
n
- Conduct examinations, evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
n
- Guide student projects, internships, dissertations and research activities.
n
- Mentor students for academic, qualified and career development.
n
- Undertake quality research and publish research papers in reputed journals/conferences.
n
- Participate in FDPs, seminars, workshops, conferences and other academic activities.
n
- Contribute to curriculum development, departmental activities and academic administration.
n
- Promote industry-academia collaboration, innovation and technology-enabled learning.

Eligibility & Experience

- Ph.D. in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.

- Strong academic and research record with quality publications will be preferred.

- Relevant teaching, research, industry or academic administration experience will be an advantage.
n
- Candidates should demonstrate strong subject knowledge, communication and presentation skills.
n
- Ability to adopt innovative and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
