1. PRE-REQUISITES

- Technical expertise on all or either of the following platform
n
- Cisco catalyst and Nexus switching and wireless
n
- Arista switching
n
- HP/Aruba switching and wireless
n
- Meraki switching and wireless
n
- Mist wireless
n
- Infoblox DDI
n
- Strong troubleshooting skill sets
n
- Conceptually robust in the following switching and wireless technology
n
- HSRP/VRRP
n
- STP/VTP
n
- VSS/VPC
n
- Ether-Channels, Stacking of switches (IRF, Cisco Stack)
n
- Stand-alone AP, IAP, Flex-connects, Wireless bridge
n

1. RESPONSIBILITIES
n

n

n

n
- Engineers who have a passion for providing outstanding customer service.
n
- 24x7 support of Enterprise Networks of large global clients that have a distributed LAN/Wireless/DDI setup
n
- Will be a part of a team of who are responsible for handling (switching/wireless/DDI) network operational/problem management issues.
n
- Ticket resolution - work and resolve trouble tickets, handle ticket escalation
n
- Queue Management - monitor ticket queue, ensure assignment/resolution and closure
n




- Create Method Of Procedure and/or Standard Operating Procedure document
n
- Plan and execute Change Management processes
n
- Performance Tuning of network devices and create Service Improvement Plans
n
- Plan and perform firmware upgrade
n
- Work with hardware/software vendors to resolve problems
n
- Train and mentor juniors
n
- Act as an SME SPOC for certain network products
n
- Interface with customer on calls and lead technical meetings
n
- Assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
n
- Provide technical inputs for weekly/monthly customer service review reports
n
- Any additional task given to the incumbent from time-to-time based on business needs
n

1. TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

- Cisco certification and Aruba /Juniper certification will be added advantage
n

1. EXPERIENCE

- Minimum 7 years of progressive, relevant experience and proven capability to work in a complex network environment
n

1. EDUCATION

- Bachelor in Engineering - Computers/Electronics/Communication or related field
n
- Graduate/Post Graduate in Science/Math/IT or related streams with relevant technology experience
n

n

- Good communication skills - written as well as verbal

- Passion to work and learn new technology
n
- ITIL process awareness
