We’re Hiring: UK Accounts Executive

New Delhi | Full-Time

At Accountables, we work with founders, CFOs, and growing businesses across the UK and US, helping them build stronger finance functions through accurate accounting, reliable reporting, and better financial processes.

n

We’re looking for a UK Accounting Associate with 2–3 years of UK accounting experience who understands UK accounting practices and has hands-on experience with Xero and other cloud accounting tools.

n

What you’ll be doing:

n

n
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for UK clients
n
- Handle bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
n
- Support month-end close, journals, accruals, and prepayments
n
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
n
- Work with Xero and other accounting platforms
n
- Support AP, AR, and UK VAT-related activities
n
- Review financial data and resolve discrepancies
n
- Communicate with UK clients and manage accounting queries
n
- Maintain accurate workpapers and accounting records
n




- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

n

n

What we are looking for:

n

n
- 2–3 years of UK accounting experience
n
- Valuable understanding of UK accounting practices
n
- Hands-on experience with Xero
n
- Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks Online, Dext, Hubdoc, Sage, FreeAgent, or similar platforms
n
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end accounting
n
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
n
- Good communication and attention to detail
n
- A proactive and ownership-driven mindset
n
