About the Role
We are looking for a Lead .NET Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions. You will provide technical leadership across the engineering team, set coding standards, mentor engineers at all levels, and play a pivotal role in shaping our architectural direction while staying hands-on with development.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance applications using .NET and C#
Own and drive architectural decisions across the team, ensuring alignment with business goals
Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices
Set and enforce coding standards, best practices, and SOLID principles across the team
Lead code reviews and provide constructive, high-quality feedback to engineers
Mentor and coach junior, mid-level, and senior engineers, supporting their technical growth
Act as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams including product, design, and stakeholders
Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Identify and drive resolution of performance bottlenecks, bugs, and technical debt
Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, retrospectives, stand-ups)
Drive improvements to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and scalability requirements
Stay current with .NET ecosystem updates and champion adoption of emerging technologies
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
7+ years of skilled software development experience
5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET (C#), including .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8
Proven experience in a technical lead or senior leadership role
