About the Role

We are looking for an Accounting Associate – Accounts Payable to support the accounting operations of our U.S.-based company. The role will primarily focus on Accounts Payable, along with supporting general accounting activities.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage the Accounts Payable process.
- Enter, code, and process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Manage vendor relationships and resolve invoice and payment-related questions.
- Manage invoice approval workflows and follow up on outstanding approvals.
- Record monthly journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.
- Record and properly code transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Prepare weekly cash flow reports.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable team and mark invoices as paid when payments are received.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and assist with resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with other accounting and finance activities as needed.
- Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects.




- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.

Qualifications
- CA qualification, or a strong accounting background is preferred.
- Candidates who have completed their CA articleship are encouraged to apply.
- 1–2+ years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Prior experience working with U.S.-based companies is preferred.
- Good understanding of U.S. accounting practices and Accounts Payable processes.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is preferred.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, reconciliations, and Accounts Payable processes.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and working with financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with a U.S.-based team.
