About the Role:

As a Lead Data Engineer at Swiss Re, you will be at the heart of our data transformation journey — architecting and delivering high-impact data pipelines and analytics solutions that power critical business decisions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and collaborate closely with Product Owners and business analysts to deeply understand requirements,



formulate innovative solutions, and evaluate implementation effort with precision
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable data transformation pipelines that meet the evolving demands of the business
- Architect and implement data models and data architecture solutions that are future-proof, performant, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Deliver scalable data solutions leveraging PySpark, Python, and enterprise data platforms, ensuring reliability and efficiency at scale
- Evaluate and prototype new capabilities of the analytics platform, contributing to the development of a single source of truth across our application landscape
- Collaborate across a global development team to co-design and deliver solutions that meet diverse stakeholder needs across geographies
- Support and advise stakeholders on data-related functional and technical challenges, translating complexity into clarity
