The Role
Kyndryl is seeking an experienced Operations Engineer to support and manage mission-critical banking platforms across cloud and on-premises environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on expertise in Platform Engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, Observability, Container Platforms, and Infrastructure Operations.
This role requires a technically strong engineer capable of providing L2/L3 support, driving operational stability, automating platform management activities, and supporting cloud-native application deployments.



The candidate should have practical experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes/OpenShift, GitHub, Infrastructure Automation, Unix/Linux and Windows Server administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for mission-critical banking applications and platforms.
- Lead investigation and resolution of production incidents, service outages, and performance issues.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Support platform engineering activities across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Support Terraform-based infrastructure deployments and operational changes.
- Manage and support container platforms including Kubernetes, OpenShift, and AKS.
- Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and capacity using enterprise observability tools.
