Job Description – Finance Specialist (Claims Reconciliation)

We are hiring a finance professional with experience in claims accounting, reconciliations, and month-end finance operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on experience in SAP and Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Perform monthly reconciliation of claims and coordinate with internal teams for resolution of open items.

Prepare balance sheet schedules including outstanding claims, deposits, refunds payable, and related reconciliations.

Coordinate with operations and finance stakeholders to clear pending accounting items.

-
Manage fixed asset accounting, capital work-in-progress (CWIP), and depreciation accounting.

Support month-end closing activities including premium accounting, long-term accounting, and claims accounting.

Prepare and share MIS reports for finance and business stakeholders.

Assist cross-functional teams including analytics, actuarial, operations, and reinsurance with financial data and reporting.

Ensure accuracy,



compliance, and timely completion of accounting activities.

Required Qualifications

B.Com / Commerce Graduate.

4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance operations.

Experience in claims accounting or reconciliation processes preferred.

Solid working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Excel.

Understanding of month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.

-
Positive communication and stakeholder coordination skills.

Preferred Background

Experience in insurance, financial services, or BFSI sector.

Exposure to reinsurance accounting and claims finance operations is an added advantage.
