Role Title: Business Analyst

Designation - Manager / Deputy Manager - Business / System Analyst

Salary upto 18 LPA

Location: Gurgaon

Role Purpose

He/She has to be a insurance domain expert, having working in an IT environment. He/she is responsible for studying the

BR or User Requirement in a very detailed manner and conduct a Gap Analysis vis a vis the systems. He/She has to

document the requirements in a pseudo technical language to the development team, so that they are able to design/build

the system efficiently. BA is the conduit between the User Group and the Development Group.

Principal Accountabilities: Key activities and decision making areas

1. Conduct Effective Gap Analysis

 Relate new business requirements/rules to current work processes and identify gaps.

 Develop business-based project deliverables. Develops training plans and prepares user documentation and training materials.

 Assist in the preparation of a product evaluation that indicates how well the business requirements were met

Prepare Functional Specification documents

 Prepare/Review the BR/FS to ensure that technical staff clearly understand the business requirements

 Get sign off from the Users on the BR/FS

3. Prepare/Review Test Cases

 Assist in the preparation and execution of a functional test plan and pass/fail test report

Customers / Stakeholders [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS]

1. Elicit Requirements Effectively

 To conduct cross-functional workshops to ensure that the views/opinions of all concerned departments are catered to.

 Helps users clarify and define systems needs.

 Create or obtain the list and description of current related work processes and rules

2. Conduct User Trainings

 Facilitates, conducts or assists with informal and formal training of the users.

Leadership & Teamwork [COMPLETE 3-4 AREAS]

1. Mentoring junior BAs

 Guide junior BAs in course of their work and ensure that all
