Position Summary

The Senior Strategic Communications & Policy Content Lead will anchor high-level government communication aligned with the Chief Minister's Vision, Mission 10 priorities, and departmental strategic roadmaps. The role requires strong grounding in economics and public policy to translate complex reforms, budgets, and economic strategies into coherent public messaging.
- Key Responsibilities
- A. Strategic Communication & Alignment
- Translate the Chief Minister's vision, departmental themes, and Mission 10 priorities into explicit, coherent, and persuasive content.
- Develop and maintain a unifying communication narrative and messaging architecture across departments.
- Create communication guidelines, tone-of-voice standards, and content templates to ensure consistency.
- B. Content Development & Editorial
- Draft, edit,



and proofread content for diverse formats:
- Speeches, talking points, and briefings for leadership
- Policy/departmental briefs, reports, fact sheets, and FAQs
- Media notes, press releases, op-eds, Q&As;, and advisories
- Event communication: program notes, anchor scripts, highlight notes, citations
- Public outreach content: brochures, leaflets, newsletters, web/app copy, and social copy
- Ensure clarity, accuracy, and accessibility for citizen-facing communications.
- C. Event & Campaign Support
- Provide content and messaging support for major State events, sectoral launches, and flagship initiatives.
- Prepare rapid-response materials (quotes, talking points, statements, press releases) for time-sensitive announcements.
- D. Cross‑Departmental Coordination
- Liaise with multiple departments and field units to gather inputs, validate data, and ensure consistency of messages.
