Role- Finance Specialist - Reinsurance

Competencies:

• Robust knowledge of Reinsurance Accounting & well versed in SAP & Excel

• Experience in month end closing, preferably from General Insurance Accounts / Finance team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Monthly reconciliation of Reinsurance Premium, Reinsurance Commission between accounting system and core system

• Preparation of Balance Schedules such as RI Payable Schedule, FAC Inward Schedule, FAC outward Schedule

• Coordination with RI on a regular basis for RI settlement documents such as Tax documents, GST invoices, Debit notes etc.

• Preparation of GST invoices and Debit notes for FAC Inward cases

• Reconciliation and Settlement of SOA between Finance records and Reinsurance team records basis various reinsurer / brokers statements.

• Assisting in month end activities such as Long-Term Advance Premium accounting, outstanding claims and various other entries.

• Supporting other stakeholders such as Analytical, Reinsurance & Actuarial teams with various MIS.
