Job Description:

Position: Quality Manager

Location: Umbergaon near by Vapi

Experience: 10 - 15 Years

Industries: Steel

Responsibilities:
- Manage overall QA/QC activities for steel manufacturing and ensure product quality.
- Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, SOPs, and inspection plans.
- Monitor raw materials, in-process production, and finished steel products.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and applicable IS/ASTM/EN standards.
- Lead quality inspections, testing, and laboratory activities.
- Analyze quality issues, customer complaints, and implement CAPA.
- Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, and quality deviations.
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation for audits.
- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, R&D;, and other departments for quality improvement.
- Conduct internal audits and support external/customer audits.




- Train and guide QC inspectors and laboratory personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement and quality-management initiatives.

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of steel manufacturing processes and quality control.
- Knowledge of metallurgy, material testing, and inspection methods.
- Positive understanding of ISO 9001, 5S, CAPA, RCA, and quality tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical

Salary: - Upto 8.40 LPA
