Job Title: Test Automation Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation frameworks, testing tools, and a solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks

Create and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and/or mobile applications

Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution

Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing

-
Ensure test coverage across functional and non-functional requirements

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

Review test cases, automation code, and test strategies

Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–8 years of experience in Test Automation

Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or UFT

Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#)

Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, NUnit, or PyTest

Positive understanding of Manual Testing concepts and STLC

Experience in API automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar

Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to Have

Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience in mobile automation (Appium)

Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber
