Job Summary: Banquet Manager
- Plan and manage all banquet functions including weddings, conferences, meetings, and social events
- Coordinate with Sales, Kitchen, Food & Beverage, AV, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams
- Prepare, review, and execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Conduct event briefings and plan manpower, duty rosters, and casual staffing
- Supervise event setup, service, and breakdown activities
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and service timing meet hotel standards
- Handle VIP guests, special requests, and guest complaints professionally
- Monitor staff grooming, service etiquette, and discipline
- Control costs, prevent wastage, and manage inventory, linen, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Provide on-floor leadership during events and resolve issues promptly
- Train, motivate, and evaluate banquet staff performance
- Prepare post-event reports, gather feedback, and coordinate billing
- Take full responsibility for banquet operations in the absence of senior F&B; leadership
