Job Description:
* Develop tools, implement physics-based algorithms and methodologies that
automate repetitive system modeling analysis tasks and bring productivity
benefits.
* Physics Modeling: Apply deep knowledge of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics,
propulsion principles, and flight mechanics to create high-fidelity aerospace
system simulations tools.
* Maintain regression testing suits to ensure the mathematical accuracy and
stability of internal performance codes.
* Gather tool requirements by collaborating directly with Performance &
Operability, aerodynamicists, thermal engineers, and flight test teams.
* Technical Documentation: Write, review, and publish comprehensive engineering
reports detailing model architectures, validation data, and analysis results
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Qualifications:
* Should possess a Masters/Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Aerospace
engineering discipline with 5-8 years of experience.
* Knowledge of System performance preliminary design tools like NPSS, TMAT,
GasTurb or others can be an advantage.
* Knowledge of thermodynamics, gas turbine performance and 1D modeling &
simulation of agile systems.
