As a Director, Fraud Operations, you’ll provide strategic leadership for fraud investigations and the broader effort to detect, investigate, mitigate, and prevent financial crime. You’ll oversee large-scale investigative operations while developing high-performing leaders and teams. The role combines operational ownership with long-term fraud risk strategy, workforce planning, governance, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional partners across Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Technology to strengthen fraud controls and investigative capabilities. You’ll also monitor emerging threats, systemic risks, and performance indicators to support informed business decisions. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced fraud qualified who can balance risk mitigation, operational efficiency, regulatory expectations, and client experience.

Accountabilities:
Establish the strategic vision, objectives, operating model, and performance standards for the Fraud Investigations function, ensuring alignment with broader fraud risk and business priorities.
Own departmental performance across fraud losses, service levels, productivity, quality, employee engagement, operational effectiveness, and overall risk outcomes.
Provide executive oversight for significant, complex, or high-profile fraud investigations and serve as a senior escalation point for critical fraud events, emerging threats, regulatory matters, and business-critical risk issues.
Identify fraud trends, systemic vulnerabilities, emerging financial crime risks, and control gaps, and develop enterprise-wide mitigation strategies to address them effectively.
