About The Role:
- Act as gatekeeper for R&D; and technical relationships between Customer and BASF.
- Develop technical proposals/ideas and apply at customer’s site.
- Develop deep and trusting customer relationships that ensure access to growth opportunities.
- Develop e-Mobility segment strategy in line with the OEM strategy and value chain eco-system with the support of Sales / BD team in alignment with regional segment marketing and e. Mobility business development team.
- Establish and develop relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally in e-Mobility eco-system.
- Drive and develop sustainable/profitable customer/product portfolios for E/E Modules and e-Mobility segment.
- Proactively pursue customer-driven innovations and new application fields and manage joint development projects.
- Individual should have valuable understanding on the material property, testing and analysis and internal capability to lead the developmental activity at customer end.
- Identify the needs of new product development and coordinate with product development team and RBU on this process.
- Aligns TS & AD resources with local Sales or Country needs to achieve trial and troubleshooting requirements
- Drives and influences specifications and industry working groups
How Will You Do It
- Identify new customers, pursue new applications, and interact with corresponding process and product developers of the potential customers, leading to profitable future business.
- Effectively use internal database to fulfill the end customer requirement to various testing and analysis
- Competitive market analysis and create an internal strategy to differentiate BASF at the customer end.
- Basic understanding of competitive prices and effectively used the concept of value pricing to win the business.
- Secures IP protection and responsible for JDAs and NDAs
- Manages relevant associations and influences international standards
- Secures R&D; transfer from TD to research.
