Capabilities, Experience & Qualification Requirements

10+ years’ qualified experience in risk management at a bank or similar
Qualification Requirements
Tertiary or Post Graduate Degree in Risk, Finance, Commerce, or Law or related discipline;
10+ years front line, first or second line risk/assurance experience
Key Accountabilities
Act as the Risk Division's DCO and central coordination point for divisional control activities
Maintain oversight of key controls, obligations, assessments and compliance activities across the Risk Division
Coordinate periodic control attestations and control effectiveness reviews.
Ensure control deficiencies, findings and remediation activities are appropriately tracked, escalated and closed
Drive continual uplift of control governance and operational risk management practices
Risk Governance & Policy
Support development, review and maintenance of Risk frameworks, policies, standards and guidance documents
Coordinate policy review cycles, attestations and governance
