Overview
The Services Software Engineer will be responsible for developing ETL processes and writing applications to interface with SQL databases. Daily tasks involve working with existing databases and performing data extraction, transformation, and load. A Services Software Engineer is responsible for identifying opportunities to optimize conversions and recommending development of best practices to the Professional Services organization. A Services Software Engineer will primarily work with internal teams but may be required to communicate and/or travel to client sites as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Be a champion for department initiatives and values ensuring all actions promote the department’s mission statement
Develop high-quality solutions utilizing best of breed technology solutions
Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL
Develop ETL scripts for data migration for customer projects using the appropriate technology based on the product’s platform / architecture.




Develop Windows and Web Services for custom integrations with existing Symplr/External Applications
Review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
Assist Customer Support/IT/DevOps teams in trouble shooting SQL performance issues
Provide timely scheduled time management reporting
Must be a self-starter always looking for opportunities to assist or improve
Other duties and projects as assigned
