Role Overview
Zulu is building a quick-commerce platform for affordable Fashion, Home and General Merchandise, tailored for value-conscious India. We are reimagining how everyday utility products are discovered and delivered through a highly efficient, inventory-led model focused on speed, affordability, and convenience. The company has raised two rounds of funding led by Stellaris and Chiratae and is building for large scale expansion across emerging Indian markets.

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented professional to manage vendor
relationships, buying operations and day-to-day execution. The candidate will be
responsible for coordinating with external vendors, ensuring timely closure of business
requirements, negotiating with vendors and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day vendor communication and relationship management.
• Coordinate with vendors for pricing, product availability, orders,




documentation and operational requirements.
• Drive buying activities including price negotiation, order placement and
commercial discussions.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with vendors to ensure timely execution and
closure of pending actions.
• Negotiate effectively with vendors to achieve better pricing, commercial terms
and service levels.
• Work closely with internal teams such as Category, Finance, Supply Chain,
Warehouse and Operations to resolve vendor-related issues.
• Track vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed timelines and
commitments.
• Take ownership of open issues and proactively work with external stakeholders
to get things done.
• Prepare and maintain MIS, trackers and reports using Excel.
• Identify operational gaps and suggest ways to improve cost, availability,
turnaround time and vendor performance.
