Role Description The Metrology Service Engineer – Chennai role is a full time, on-site position based in the Chennai area, with responsibility for supporting metrology equipment installed at customer locations.



Day-to-day tasks include installation, calibration, maintenance, and repair of products such as height gauges, VMMs, CMMs, and linear scales. The role involves diagnosing technical issues, performing troubleshooting and field service activities, and providing timely technical support to ensure minimal equipment downtime. The engineer will interact with customers to understand issues, explain findings, and recommend preventive maintenance practices. Documentation of service activities, coordination with the internal R&D; and production teams, and adherence to safety and quality standards are integral to this position.
Qualifications
