About the Role
SMS Associates is looking for a motivated and technically inclined Cybersecurity Intern to join our team. The role is primarily focused on the investigations and technical aspects of cybersecurity, with an chance to work at the intersection of cybersecurity, digital investigations, and legal matters.
The intern will gain practical exposure to cybersecurity assessments, digital evidence,



incident analysis, cyber investigations, and technical documentation while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with cybersecurity assessments and technical security reviews.
Support digital forensic and cyber investigation activities.
Assist in the identification, preservation, collection, and analysis of digital evidence.
Perform basic log analysis, network analysis, endpoint analysis, and system investigations.
Assist with OSINT and threat intelligence research.
Conduct vulnerability identification and basic security testing under supervision.
Analyze suspicious activities, incidents, emails, files, systems, and other digital artefacts.
Assist in preparing technical investigation reports, findings, and documentation.
