At GameGenesis, we're looking for a creative Game VFX Intern who can bring energy, impact, and immersion to our games through real-time visual effects. From explosive combat effects and magical abilities to environmental effects and UI feedback, you'll help create the moments that players remember.

Your Mission
- Create high-quality real-time visual effects for gameplay and environments.
- Design effects such as explosions, magic spells, combat impacts, smoke, fire, weather systems, and environmental VFX.
- Build and optimize particle systems for performance and visual quality.
- Create and modify materials, shaders, and textures for VFX assets.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, animators, and developers to enhance gameplay feedback.
- Ensure effects align with the artistic direction and visual style of the project.




- Test and optimize effects for different platforms and hardware requirements.
- Iterate on VFX assets based on feedback and gameplay needs.

We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has experience with Unreal Engine 5 Niagara and/or Unity VFX tools.
- Understands particle systems, materials, and shaders.
- Has a robust eye for timing, motion, color, and composition.
- Understands how VFX contributes to gameplay readability and player feedback.
- Is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about game development.
- Has strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Can work effectively within a collaborative team environment.

It'll Be Awesome If You Also Have
- Experience with Niagara, Unity VFX Graph, or similar real-time VFX tools.
- Knowledge of shader creation and material editing.
- Familiarity with Blender, Photoshop, or After Effects.
- Experience creating stylized or realistic game effe
