Role Description The Pastry Chef is a full-time, in office role based at Hide-In’s property in Udaipur. This role is responsible for planning, preparing, and baking a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for guests, with a focus on consistent quality, taste, and presentation.



Day-to-day tasks include producing pastries and bakery items, managing ingredient inventory, maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards, and collaborating with the kitchen team to develop new menu items. The Pastry Chef will work closely with management to support guest satisfaction, adapt offerings to seasonal and regional preferences, and ensure timely service for breakfast, café, and special events. The role also involves occasional guest interaction, such as explaining menu items or supporting small workshops or tasting events.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong culinary skills, including Cooking and general Culinary Skills.
Candidates should possess specialized pastry and dessert skills, including Baking and Bakery experience.
Candidates should possess solid Food Preparation skills, including handling ingredients, portioning, and maintaining food safety standards.
