Role: Senior Backend Software Engineer (Remote)

Payout: $245 - $280/hour

Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on a contract basis. The position involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions for mission-critical systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance applications that meet business and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and optimize software systems with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Lead the development of new features and improvements for existing platforms.
Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
Troubleshoot complex issues, debug problems, and implement solutions in a timely manner.
Participate in architectural decisions, system design, and technology stack evaluations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong portfolio of work.




Proficiency in backend development using languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with a focus on testability.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and DevOps practices.
Solid problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
