Role Description The Dg Operator role is a full-time in office position based at the company’s facility in Gurugram. The Dg Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring diesel generator (DG) units, ensuring continuous and reliable power supply to support production and office operations. Daily tasks include starting and stopping DG sets as needed, checking fuel levels and basic mechanical parameters, recording operating data, and conducting routine inspections for performance and safety.



The role also involves coordinating with maintenance teams for scheduled servicing, reporting any irregularities, and following all safety protocols and standard operating procedures. The Dg Operator will work closely with the facilities and engineering teams to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications

Ability to operate, monitor, and perform basic checks on diesel generator units, including routine inspections and parameter logging.
Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical systems related to DG operation and an understanding of safety standards and emergency procedures.
Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or facilities environment, preferably in power backup or utilities operations.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond quickly to power-related issues or equipment alarms.
