Engineering in Mechanical for Home office QC Engineer Category of Piping, Rotary , Static, Package QC Engineer . Work experiences of more than 10 years to 12 years for Oil & Gas / petrochemical facility, chemical, power plant.
1. Review of requisitions and Technical Bid Evaluation/ Clarification & participating the KOM
2. Preparation of Request for Inspection and Coordinator in overseas offices .
3. Review and approval of vendors QC documents such as inspection procedure, ITP (Inspection and Test Plan), NDE procedure, PWHT procedure and WPS/PQR.
4. Chairing the PIM (Pre-Inspection Meeting) for critical order.
5. Instruction/Coordination for shop inspection activities with shop Inspectors and Review of inspection report from shop Inspectors.
6. Coordination of non-conformance for disposition and corrective actions with discipline engineers.
7.
Confirmation of IRC (Inspection Release Certificate).
8. Approval of vendor’s Manufacturing Data Book (MRB).
9. Supervises and guides & checking of the work by QC engineers
10. Supports/assists PQCM/Deputy PQCM in managing execution of QC activities.
11. As a QC Engineer it is expected that the role will contribute to the mentoring and training of QC engineers within the department.
12. Selected Candidate needs to work at overseas office 2 years initially.
Requirements
1. ASNT, CSWIP, PCN or Equivalent NDE certificate with minimum level 2 (For NDE QCE).
2. Added advantage of Welding and painting CSWIP certificate
3 Comprehension of related codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, API, NACE, and ISO.
