Job Description
What are we looking for:
We are currently seeking an accomplished individual to join our finance and accounting team and assume the role of Senior Accountant for our Varex India Entity, located in Pune. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of our exciting journey and make a meaningful contribution to our success.
The position will report to the India Finance Controller. The Senior Accountant is a key driver in the global accounting close process, internal controls, and reconciliations. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your knowledge of the global accounting process, expand into other finance related areas,



and use your new found knowledge to improve processes.

The ideal person for this position will have a demonstrated understanding of corporate accounting, excellent technical and communication skills, drive and focus on process improvement, and the ability to partner effectively across business functions. You will move quick while keeping your attention to detail, and you will tap into your problem-solving skills to support Varex’s business objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in the accounting closure and financial reporting process ensuring all financial deadlines are met for India entities.
Own and assist in aspects of monthly close, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, monitoring and preparing ad-hoc analyses.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.)
