About the Role

Black Diamond Media & Production Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced and creatively robust Senior Storyboard & Concept Artist who can take ownership of the creative visual development of our animation projects.

The ideal candidate should have an in-depth understanding of storyboarding, visual storytelling, art direction, camera language, composition, cinematography, character staging, environment design, mood, lighting, continuity, and overall visual development.

This role is not limited to creating storyboards. The candidate will be expected to work closely with the creative and production teams to translate scripts and ideas into strong visual sequences and ensure that the creative vision is maintained throughout production.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop detailed and production-ready storyboards based on scripts, concepts,



and creative briefs.
* Establish the visual language and creative direction of sequences and projects.
* Determine appropriate camera angles, camera movements, framing, lens choices, perspective, composition, and shot sizes.
* Plan scenes with a solid understanding of cinematography and visual storytelling.
* Decide how characters, environments, props, and camera work together within each shot.
* Create compelling visual narratives, story beats, sequences, and shot breakdowns.
* Develop concept art and visual references for characters, environments, locations, props, compositions, and key moments.
* Establish mood, atmosphere, visual tone, scale, depth, and emotional impact of scenes.
* Provide clear visual direction to 3D artists, animators, lighting artists, compositors, and other creative departments.
