Job description:
ROLE PURPOSE
We are looking for a Quality Engineer to own and drive the overall Quality Engineering strategy, roadmap, automation, manual testing, quality metrics and continuous improvement across a 30-person engineering team.



This is a hands-on role with strong ownership, requiring the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Quality Strategy & Ownership
Define and drive the Quality Engineering strategy, roadmap and priorities across multiple initiatives.
Establish quality standards, Definition of Done, quality gates and release-readiness criteria.
Identify and proactively manage quality risks across parallel initiatives.
Drive shift-left, risk-based testing and quality-by-design practices.
Design, develop and maintain robust API, integration, regression and end-to-end automation.
Strong focus on backend/API automation rather than UI-only testing.
Develop reusable automation frameworks and scripting for test execution, validation and test data.
Use Bruno, Postman or equivalent API testing tools for API validation and automation.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and es
