As we scale and build out the center, we are looking for an Assistant Manager
to assist with managing the team, along with assigning work and interacting with
clients on requirements of Global Trade and Customs Managed Services solution.
The objective of this capability is to build a global managed services center
for product classification, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and Post Entry Review
(PER) solutions that drives technology enabled standard processes that delivers
consistent, high quality and continuously improving processes for efficiency and
effectiveness of our solutions bringing together the best KPMG Trade and Customs
has to offer at a global scale with local expertise. As an Assistant Manager in
this team, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

* Implement engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing,
and completing tax projects) assigned to the team




* Manage engagement workflow, engagement team resources, and engagement
billing
* Responsible for quality of work
* Provide leadership, counseling, and career guidance for the development and
motivation of the team
* Continuous improvement of team’s performance through critical analysis of
feedback received
* Maintain and develop strong client relationships
* Operations reporting and performance dashboards for key stakeholders and
leadership

Technical Competencies:

* Develop and maintain relationships with strategic stakeholders, manage client
interactions and business partnerships to implement trade compliance
operations strategy for the organization.
* Use a thorough understanding of trade compliance laws, regulations, practices
and procedures to supervise, approve and make decisions that affect the trade
compliance operation.
