Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and customer-focused Restaurant Captain / Senior Server to lead the service team and ensure smooth restaurant operations. The Captain will coordinate with servers, kitchen, and management to provide excellent guest service and maintain high service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and ensure a warm and professional dining experience.
- Take customer orders accurately and confidently explain menu items.
- Supervise and guide restaurant servers during the shift.
- Allocate tables and coordinate staff according to business requirements.
- Ensure food and beverages are served correctly and on time.
- Check guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
- Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar for timely order execution.
- Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness,



and restaurant presentation.
- Monitor service standards and ensure SOPs are followed.
- Assist servers during busy hours and lead by example.
- Check bills before presenting them to guests and coordinate with the cashier when required.
- Train current servers on service procedures, menu knowledge, and guest handling.
- Communicate daily operational issues to the Restaurant Manager.
- Maintain hygiene, grooming, discipline, and professional behavior among the service team.
- Support opening and closing duties as required.

Requirements:
- 12th pass or equivalent; hospitality qualification is an advantage.
- 1-3 years of experience in restaurant service, preferably as a Captain or Senior Server.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Good knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi; basic English is preferred.
- Well-groomed
